Hello everyone and welcome to the first installment of Sana's Mailbag! It's been a hectic year, so far, but I'm so honored, and humbled by the attention my first single Something Special (Radio Edit) is receiving. I never thought, I'd have over 6000 spins on YouTube and over 5000 on spotify! I'm especially grateful for the love coming across continents!
Brazil, U.K., France, Spain and so many more have dialed in to the #Sunsetters vibe. Thank you soo much! You'll never know how much it means to have my song heard and enjoyed by all of you. With that in mind, I've noticed we've been getting a consistent flow of messages and emails about everythiung from music to love. So this is my attempt to answer a couple of questions every month-time permitting.
Question: Jake from Seattle asked if I'm coming out with an album. Answer: I'm slated to release 6 singles this year. As of now, I do not have an album in the works, but it is a real possibility.
Question: From Lynn in Marietta, GA-Do you write your songs? Answer: Yes, I do.
Question: Lester from Birmingham, UK asked Who is your favorite artist? Answer: I don't have one! I like a wide range of artists many are vintage like Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy, Tammy Wynette, Ray Price and George Jones among many many others. I listen and like a wide range of music from country to rap, and jazz as well as classic rock.
Question: Saul from Sao Paulo, Brazil asked are you single? Answer: I am recently single.
Question: Jaime from Barcelona, Spain asked What social platform are you active on? Answer: I'm not very active on socials, but I love texting, emails and Zoom calls, which you already have access to through our #Sunsetters VIP Club.
Question: Corey from San Antonio asked: What's the best way to get over someone? Answer: Focusing on yourself via personal development, education, fitness and volunteering are great ways to shift your focus towards positive life affirming actions.
For those interested in personal development, I actually hosted a podcast last year squarely focused on being better humans. It was titled Do This First. I also finished writing a personal development book: PDLC-The Personal Debvelopment Lifecycle. If you'd like a sneak peak sign up for VIP access. I'll send you a sample chapter.
#Sunsetters, See you soon!
